Margarita Cupcakes

Last weekend we had some of our good friends over to celebrate the beginning of summer with a murder mystery party. We had never been to a murder mystery party, in fact my only point of reference is the episodes of Saved By The Bell when they spend a weekend playing a murder mystery game.

The name of this murder mystery party was Murder in Margaritaland. I was impressed how into it many of our friends got. I think a lot of fun (and margaritas) was had by all. What makes the perfect compliment to margaritas? Why margarita cupcakes of course!

Tequila-lime cake, brushed with more tequila, topped with a tequila-lime American buttercream, lime zest, and a lime slice. Yum.
